All - Pneumatic tubes with broken latches (or only one functional latch) should be removed from service. Please set aside for Plant Operations to repair. Do not use these tubes even for sending a very small load!

Please review the attached images....  We caused a significant tube system
down this weekend because we over-packed a tube.  In my 40+ years of working
with a variety of pneumatic tube systems this has been something that my
various pharmacies have caused off and on.  It is very serious when an
over-packed tube gets stuck in these systems.

Don't focus too much on what this particular tube contained, anything we
send by tube can end up in an overpacked tube.

Please be aware of the dangers of putting too much product into any single
tube!

Thanks!

Michael, this is happening more and more often. Maybe it will help coming
from management. The latch probably broke due to the amount of bags packed
in the tube causing a down time Saturday while we took a TCU a part to get
the tube out of the system. Can you express for staff not to over pack.

Thanks Dano
