Subject: ZOSYN 3.375 g MiniBag Plus Change to ADDVANTAGE


ZOSYN 3.375 g MiniBag Plus vials are on severe backorder and so have been removed from Pyxis devices and replaced by ADD-VANTAGE vials. Current orders for ZOSYN 3.375 g MiniBag Plus need to be updated to the ADD-VANTAGE vial. All entry pathways in iCare have been updated for entry to Add-Vantage.

There is a Sentri7 rule which was created to assist with changing these patients over to ADDVANTAGE entries located under “Drug Shortage Management” tab titled “ZOSYN Change to ADDVANTAGE”. Please review this tab and re-enter current MBP Zosyn 3.375 g orders so that they are now associated with the ADD-VANTAGE vials/bags.
