Subject: Update: NEW Phacts First Dose/NOW Interface

As of today, iCare orders entered for ED areas at MAIN and W&C will now cross via the ‘first dose’ interface to the Phacts carousel (ex. “RX” frequency items). Therefore, if you choose to enter a UD item supplied by the carousel through the “RX” frequency pathway, it will no longer need to be manually pick from the carousel.

Pharmacists: Please remember to include “Sent to Tube #____” in the comment field for the order so that it can be routed appropriately.

Please let me know if you have any questions or encounter any issues. Thank you.

Clinical Pharmacist, Informatics Lead
