Subject: Protonix IV

The following is a report from the HH Pharmacy Back Order Committee:

Update from the backorder meeting today : we have almost 10,000 protonix IV vials and it is available for order. We have removed it from the back order list and the substitutions to PO and Pepcid per P&T can be reversed.

Based on this information, you may now verify new orders for Protonix IV. Please remember that this drug is on our automatic IV-to-PO list and should be converted to PO if P&T-approved criteria is met.

Thanks for your help in getting us through this period of shortage. DAVID
