08/22/2017 RC -- Flu Vaccine Update

The workhorse flu vaccine for the 2017-2018 season will be Fluzone quadrivalent (or Fluarix), ready to use syringe. Flublok quadrivalent will be available in limited supply for those with significant egg allergy. FluMist will not be available again this flu season due to studies showing poor efficacy.
