I have attached the Huddle presentation I gave today that details the changes for resident staffing this year. Some of the changes are as follows:
- Residents will no longer be staffing the Central 3 on the weekends, it will now be a UB pharmacist shift. They will be staffing Mid Shift (0900-1730) with order verification focused on the ED (details will be updated on Formweb).
- Residents will staff the UB 5 from the 5th floor office.
- When Jonathan Spry is staffing swing shift, residents on swing will be working from central pharmacy .
- Reminder: UB/trainee will be responsible for their consults throughout all of training (please reach out if consult load is too heavy).
As mentioned in Huddle, please provide the residents daily feedback throughout training. This will greatly benefit their learning!
