6/23/26 2nd Shift Deployment Change

Pharmacists,
As mentioned in Huddle, we will be transitioning 2nd shift workflow to more delineated assignments in the afternoon (from 3:15-7:15 pm) Mon-Thurs, effective this Wednesday, June 24th. 2nd shift UBs will be responsible for order verification and intervention follow up for their designated units listed below. New patient lists have been created. Once swing shift leaves, UBs will then work from a shared PPM until the end of their shift and will continue to handle phone calls from their previous designated units. For TigerConnect, we will continue to use the after hours team for now, as providers rarely initiate messages. This way each position will not have to sign in to multiple individual roles. The pharmacist responsible for the patient in question can respond to the message.
ICU, periops, and central (UB 10/C3) coverage will not be changing at this time. Friday and Weekend 2nd shift coverage will stay the same.
The A* will now be called the UB 13 due to PPM character limitations in Cerner. The time of the shift will remain the same.
We are working with Hannah and Linh to coordinate phone calls in central pharmacy. We recommend calling your assigned units on Wednesday evening to give them your phone number for the night. We have placed a ticket to remove the 52280 phone group, but in the meantime all second shift Ascoms may ring if 52280 is called.
