3/5/26 TigerConnect Updates
March 5, 2026
TigerConnect Pharmacists:
Two updates to our TigerConnect platform have recently been approved by change control and confirmed as active by our TigerConnect team. One is more straightforward to explain than the other, so I will start with that one:
1) It is now possible for TigerConnect administrators to completely turn off message history for roles where it is not required. If there are particular roles where you do not need to be able to see any message history at all when you opt into them, please send a proposal to turn off message history for the role to your immediate supervisor and copy me on the email. These requests will be reviewed by our pharmacy implementation team.
2) Message history for roles in TigerConnect has been reduced from 30 days to 14 days. Some providers can work over 10 days in a row at times, so reducing the history to shorter than 14 days as a system-wide setting was not deemed appropriate at this time by change control. Note that the affected message history is how many days load when you take over a role--only 14 days will load now. Messages that you personally send while in a role will be assigned a 30-day history at first, and they will change to a 14-day history once someone new takes over the role. See this additional explanation from one of our TigerConnect representatives:
"It's important to note that the message retention still is the same (30 days), it's only at handoff that only 14 days worth of messages are carried over to the new user. For example, if I'm opted into a role for more than 30 days (sometimes that can happen depending on the use case), then the messages will continue to stick around for 30 days. It's not until someone else opts into the role, that only 14 days will carry over."
Hopefully I've explained these changes clearly and they lead to less overall clutter in your TigerConnect inboxes. Please reach out to me with any clarifying questions!
