12/16/25 Stroke Kit Change

December 16, 2025

We have fully transitioned from using a 50 mg TNKase Stroke Kit to a 25 mg TNKase Stroke Kit at HH Main and HHWC. Per Chris Strickland, Madison Hospital will convert to all 25 mg TNKase Stroke Kits tomorrow 12/16/2025

We will keep 25 mg TNKase Stroke Kits in the following locations.

HH Main Carousel
HHWC Carousel
POD-A Pyxis
POD-D Pyxis

The Stroke Alert process remains the same. We are using a 25 mg TNKase Stroke Kit instead of 50 mg kit because the maximum approved dose for stroke is 25 mg.

See the attached TNKase 25 mg dosing sheet for dosing and reconstitution instructions. The new 25 mg vial only requires 5.2 mL of sterile water for reconstitution.
Let me, Nellie McKee, or Jeremy Ray know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
