8/11/25 Lantus on backorder

August 11, 2025

Lantus has went on backorder and I am requesting for us (NSS) to STOP ordering Lantus for now and to utilize NPH insulin instead.

If you need help converting any patients over to NPH from Lantus dosing, please contact one of the pharmacists.  Pharmacy will advise us once Lantus becomes available again for routine use.

Thanks for your help in managing this backorder situation.
