Hello all, 

 

Great news!  If you have not heard the clozapine REMS program is no more! That means no more need to verify patients in the way we are used to. REMS related documents will soon begin to be removed from the system as will the clozapine progress note and inclusion of clozapine in the REMS drug rule on Sentri-7.  A new rule will be created to identify clozapine patients in house but intervention will be on a much smaller scale.  An ANC will be checked upon initial verification and as long as it is greater than 1000 no follow up needed for 2 weeks.  This information will also be addressed soon in a huddle but feel free to send me any questions y0u have.
