2/25/25 STOP Heparin Infusion Rule Beginning

Hi everyone, 
Beginning tomorrow 2/25/25, a new rule will create a dummy drug matching the time a heparin drip is to be discontinued. The pharmacist will verify this dummy drug and the nurse will chart on the order when the heparin drip is taken down. This is to help clarify the intended time a heparin drip is supposed to end. Please see the attached tip sheet for details, and please let me know if you have any questions.
