For several months we have been investigating with Cerner sporadic issues related to files within the “Documentation” section of Powerchart sometimes showing up blank for Pharmacist users. Often this preceded a crash of the Powerchart application itself, typically when attempting to subsequently create a new Clinical/Progress Note on a patient’s profile.
After investigation with Cerner representatives and testing with affected users, we found that removing the “Documentation List” iView Navigator Band from the “Interactive View and I&O” section of the chart prevents this error from recurring.
