9/17/24 CDI Testing Update - Go Live 9/24

Good morning, pharmacists- 

 

After review of guidelines and institutional research, it was decided by the Infectious Diseases Subcommittee to transition to two-step CDI testing for patients at Huntsville Hospital. The updated testing algorithm will go live next week on September 24th. 
Please see attached education to familiarize yourself with this update. It is also available on the Antimicrobial Management Team (AMT) FormWeb page under "C. difficile Infection" for your reference.
