This morningJuly 11th, we have converted all cefoxitin 1 gram, cefoxitin 2 gram, and meropenem 500 mg doses from IV push back to IV Piggyback for PEDIATRIC patients ONLY at all all facilities.  Powerplans, order sentences, and quick orders have been updated to help facilitate product assignment.  Patients at HWC will have minibag plus piggybacks in 50 mL of NS, and at other facilities they will be in 100 mL of NS.  Adult doses will continue to assign to IV Push products.  Please let Pharm IT know if you have any issues.
