6/26/24 Rocephin IVP to MBP for PEDS Patients Update
June 26, 2024

This morning, Wednesday, June 26th, we will be converting Rocephin 500 mg and 1 gram doses from IV push back to IV Piggyback for PEDIATRIC patients ONLY at all facilities.  Powerplans, Order Sentences, and quick orders will be updated to help facilitate product assignment.   Patients at HWC will have minibag plus piggybacks in 50 mL of NS, and at other facilities they will be in 100 mL of NS.  Adult doses will continue to assign to IV push products.  Please let Pharm IT know if you have any issues.
