Hi,

Just a reminder.. in case you get a call from HHM OR/ED requesting this kit or Pitocin. 

Pharmacy has kits loaded in OR-1 (general pod), Anesthesia, and POD D Pyxis. Kit contents are listed below and in the attached document. There are TWO portions to each kit, a non-refrigerated bag and a refrigerated bag.

See the attached document for Pyxis removal instructions.

OB Trauma Kit Contents:

oxytocin (Pitocin) 10 unit/mL vials x 3

LR 500 mL IVPB x 1

methylergonovine (Methergine) 0.2mg/mL ampule x 2 (refrigerator)

carboprost (Hemabate) 250 mcg ampule X 2 (refrigerator) miSOPROStol(CYTOTEC) (4 X 200 mcg tablet) 800mcg terbutaline 1 mg/mL inj x2 magnesium sulfate 4 gram premixed IVPB magnesium sulfate 2 gram premixed IVPB

oxytocin (Pitocin) 10 unit/mL vials are also loaded in OR-1 and POD D.
