Subject: Pharmacist Schedule Changes
Attachment: Order Verification Unit Assignments July 2017

Hi all,

With our current staff, it has become impossible to meet staffing requirements and we will have to temporarily shrink the Monday-Friday RPh schedule by two positions. There will be one Q pharmacist, and the new shift will be 10 hours from 0600-1630. There will be NO UB 12, and the current assigned units will primarily be absorbed by the UB 11. Please see attached for more details on the assignment adjustment. These changes will be reflected on the next schedule to be posted (7/30-8/12) and will go into effect Monday, July 31st. Suggested lunch breaks for central pharmacist staff are: Q 1100-1145; t 1145-1230; T 1230-1315.

These changes are being made in an effort to reduce overtime and allow for existing ETO requests to be honored. Teamwork is important now more than ever. Please keep your colleagues in mind and offer assistance if you are able.

THANK YOU to all who have worked extra shifts, to the clinical specialist staff for continued order verification assistance in the mornings, and to all for your continued patience as we work to train new pharmacists over the next couple months.

Let me know if you have any concerns,

Sam
