Good Afternoon,

We now stock a ready-to-use Angiomax 250mg/50mL product in Pod A, Pod D and Cath lab pyxis. For this reason, we are removing Angiomax kits from all heart alert boxes.

Kitcheck settings have been updated as well as the attached contents list.

All,

There have been some recent requests for Angiomax at heart alerts from providers. Instead of loading to pyxis, you will find the Angiomax kits (including mixing instructions as before) back in the Heart Alert boxes.
Kitcheck settings have been updated and I've attached the most current contents list.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Good Afternoon,

The decision was made to stop using Angiomax as the standard first line treatment for STEMI in the ED. We are removing "Angiomax Kits" from the Heart Alert boxes. Kitcheck settings have been updated. Remove any remaining "Angiomax kits" from these boxes when cleaning and refilling them. See attached for the most up to date Heart Alert box contents.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
