A team of pharmacists lead by Mary Dang have been working hard to create a learning experience that will hopefully be fun and different than previous competency assessments.

First, ACPE credit through Samford University is being obtained to provide 1 credit hour of CE for the program; the program, all attendees will complete a NetLearning assessment corresponding to the date you participated.  The NetLearning assessment will serve as official attendance and for submission of ACPE credit through Samford University.

Second, the style of the program is different.  The program will be a short introduction at the beginning of each presentation.  Then, attendees will split into groups to attend hands-on learning and demonstration of skills in the following areas: pediatrics, geriatrics, oncology, cardiology, and transitions of care.  Attendees will stay at each station for set time periods and then rotate to the next station.  At the end of the hour, all attendees will have participated in the 5 different stations.

Also different, two sessions (1PM start and 2PM start) will be provided on 3 different days for six total sessions:  September 12, 14, and 20

To facilitate this process, we are asking all inpatient pharmacists to sign up to attend through google document with link provided below.  Please consider your coworkers and work together to sign up for dates and times that work best.

As always, please reach out to myself, Mary Dang, or Alexis Skarupa if you have questions.

Thanks
