Subject: Nurse Heparin Adjustment Orders
 
 
Due to issues with the Heparin Protocol PowerPlan orders remaining active after the heparin drip itself is discontinued, the NURSE Adjustment Orders Heparin Sliding Scale PowerPlans (Standard and Low) have been updated with a new Dynamic PowerPlan Rule that evaluates whether or not the patient has an active heparin drip on their profile. Please see attached for details, and let me know if you have any questions.
