Subject: Cerner PDMP Integration live for Pharmacists

Hey all,

Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (PDMP) Integration within Cerner is now live for Pharmacists, and providers are soon (if not already) required to review the PDMP within Cerner prior to prescribing C2-C4 controlled substances.  Please read the tip sheet uploaded to the following link for more information, including its limitations.  Probably the biggest problems you will encounter are with patient matching and with Cerner not being able to pull all the sources available from the regular PDMP website: Tip Sheet on PDMP Integration for Pharmacists

Also, if you have already successfully registered with the AL PDMP (https://alabama.pmpaware.net/login) please let me know if you encounter problems with your license within Cerner.
