Pharmacists,

I just wanted to pass along a helpful way to search for surgery histories in Cerner, especially if your trying to find documentation of a previous hysterectomy.

Under Clinical Pharmacist Summary (1), select the Pharmacist Workflow tab (2). Then select the Histories link in the gray bar (3). Then select the Procedure tab (4) under histories and any previous hysterectomy should be documented. This is one of the methods that the PreOp nurses will use to check off all their tasks prior to beginning a procedure.
