Subject: Adult MVI Shortage
 

Good Afternoon All,

We are experiencing yet another multivitamin infusion shortage. Starting tomorrow, 02/04/2023, we will need to make the following adjustments:

 

1. Please collaborate with physicians to switch adult TPN patients to oral/enteral tube multivitamin tablets/capsules, when possible.

2. In non-critically ill patients, please limit MVI TPN additions to 5 mL daily.

3. ICU patients can receive 10 mL MVI daily.
