Subject: Powerchart Change: Modify Action for Continuous Drips/Infusion
Currently in PROD, users in Powerchart do not have the ability to perform a MODIFY action to alter the duration/duration unit or the Stop Date/Time on a continuous drip order (these fields are locked/dithered when a Modify action occurs).
Effective Wednesday, November 30, these fields will be un-dithered with a MODIFY action so that a stop date/time can be applied to a continuous order. Please note that this applies to standard continuous IV Fluids as well.
The impact for pharmacy should be minimal, but we wanted you to be aware of this change in case there are any unexpected issues experienced with this modification. Please let us know if there are any questions prior or if any issues are encountered after this change is in place. Thank you.
