The administration time changes for Symbicort have been well received by Respiratory Therapy.  Given this, we will be moving forward with applying the same flex of BID frequency administrations to the additional products listed on Tuesday, Nov. 8:

Advair (fluticasone-salmeterol)

Dulera (mometasone-formoterol)

Asmanex (mometasone)

Pulmicort (budesonide)

We’ve received a request from RT to flex administration times for Symbicort BID to 0800/2000 instead of the current 0900/2100 administration times.  The plan is to go-live with this change on Tuesday, Oct 25.  This change will impact NEW orders placed going forward (it will not modify current orders).

Assuming this works well for RT, we will likely add other products (Advair, Dulera, Asmanex, Pulmicort) to flex to similar times in the coming weeks.

Please let us know if there are any questions/concerns with this changeThank you.
