Recent Huddles have emphasized mastering of the 10 HRO tools and being able to recite them and say a few words on how each can be applied to your everyday work environment.  The mnemonic "CASSI knows numbers" has been devised to help you remember the HRO tools.  Attached is a handout explaining the mnemonic.  Pharmacy leadership rounding is now occurring on both 1st and 2nd shift, and individual RPhs may be asked how many of the HRO reliability tools they can name.  The goal is not just to memorize, but to use the tools to provide the best and safest patient care.
