Subject: Trace elements backorder and TPNs

To all,

Trace elements used in TPNs is on backorder.  In order to conserve supply, trace elements in TPNs is being restricted to MWF use in neonatal, pediatric, and adult TPNs.   Usual doses should be used MWF.  Trace elements are to be removed from neonatal, pediatric, and adult TPNs on TThSS.  This goes into effect immediately.

Hopefully this won't last long.
