Pharmacists,

Please see below information regarding the 2022-23 inpatient flu vaccine plan that was sent to the nursing staff. Nurses will begin screening patients on September 19th and will stop screening on March 31, 2023.

When verifying these orders, please remember to check the Immunization Schedule in PowerChart (located on the tool bar to the left of the screen) to see if the patient has received a flu vaccine at our facility during this flu season. (Note: this will only alert you if the patient received a flu vaccine at the hospital and does not pull in outpatient information)

 

You may need to scroll to the right under Previous Immunizations to see the most recent administrations, or try out “List view” under Immunization -> Properties:
