Good Evening All,

Please do not verify any IV orders for valproate sodium (valproic acid). These vials are on critical backorder, and we do not have the stock to sustain these orders.
Please work with the provider for alternative therapy.
If PSP receives a label for valproate, we will be contacting the verifying pharmacist to get the order changed to an alternative agent.
We appreciate your help as we navigate this backorder.
