Starting Tuesday, July 5th, the standard Adult ANES and PEDANES Pre/Post-Op powerplans will be updated to be a single powerplan respectively. This will reduce the number of orders necessary for our procedural pharmacists to verify daily, while providing a smoother transition for nursing as we move toward having profiled Pyxis machines in our surgery areas. Katie Varner has developed a video overview explaining some of the updates with frailty and the different phases (find the link and password below). A special thanks to the group of pharmacists involved in making this update possible (Jerry, Cappy, Patrick, Michele, Katie, and Aaron).
