Subject: Dobutamine
 
Dobutamine infusions continue to be on shortage. We have nearly exhausted our supply of the dobutamine 500 mg / 250 ml premix. 
Tomorrow morning, June 2, we will begin using dobutamine 250 mg / 250 ml infusions. Cerner changes will be made prior to 8 am and the Pyxis inventory is in the process of being exchanged. 
PSP will dispense the remaining 500 mg / 250 ml premixes for existing orders (currently 3 patients) until they are discontinued.
