06/03/17 AA -- OTOVEL OTIC Drops

Subject: OTOVEL OTIC Drops

Due to unique billing/dispensing needs associated with recently P&T approved OTOVEL OTIC drops product (which serves as a formulary substitution for CIPRODEX), if an order is received to instill OTOVEL drops in BOTH EARS, an order for 1 single-use vial for each ear will need to be verified (2 orders total—one for right ear and one for left ear). An iCare pathway has been built to accommodate this order entry of two separate orders.

Let me know if you have any questions.
