Subject: Norepinephrine 8 mg / 250 ml

Norepinephrine update:
 
We will return to using normal saline as our standard base fluid for all norepinephrine infusions starting Thursday morning at 8am. 
Cerner changes will be made to remove the 8 mg premix containing dextrose and we will eliminate these from inventory.
 
PSP will provide infusions in dextrose for specific patient needs when requested.
