Subject: HH Main Pharmacist Emergency Competency

Pharmacists,

Next week will begin our in-person "Emergency" competencies.  The competency will cover adult & pediatric code blue, heart alert, stroke alert, and malignant hyperthermia. All pharmacists that respond to codes or staff in any patient care areas will need to sign up for the competency per TJC. Each session will last around 30 minutes and will be held in the 5th floor pharmacy conference room directly after huddle.

There will be a required CBL to complete after attending the session (E-PH6310222 2022 Emergency Situations Pharmacist Competency). Please complete this CBL after your session.

Here is the google sign up sheet link. Please sign up for only one session.

Madison Hospital, W&C, TOC, and Midnight pharmacists will have separate offerings of the competency. Communications to follow on setting those up over the next few weeks.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
