Good morning,
We will be starting our first phase of Monday-Friday UB pilots next week. Temporary changes and responsibilities are below:
Starting Monday, Feb 21st
UB 6 Responsibilities (0700-1530) - 2 weeks
We will be starting our first phase of Monday-Friday UB pilots next week. Temporary changes and responsibilities are below:
Starting Monday, Feb 21st
UB 6 Responsibilities (0700-1530) - 2 weeks
- Order verification, PKS consults, and Sentri7 for 2E/2W/3NE
- PPM: UB 6 Pilot
- Profile review for 2E/2W/3NE
- NSS will continue to be done by the ClinSpecs
- Lunch at 1145 covered by 2nd shift UBs
- Ascom number: 74265
- Intervention documentation daily
- Visible pharmacy presence for respective units
- Normal UB 1 assignments excluding all 2E/2W responsibilities
- Normal ED 1 assignments excluding all 3NE order verification, PKS, interventions, and Sentri7s (continue NSS)
Starting Monday, Feb 28th
UB 5 Responsibilities (0600-1430) - 1 week
- Order verification and Sentri7 for 3E/3W/CSSM/SHRU/CATH
- PPM: Current UB 5 ppm
- PKS Consults for 3E/3W
- NSS will continue to be done by the ClinSpecs
- Profile review for 3E/3W
- Lunch 1145-1230 covered by 2nd shift UBs
- Ascom number: 74262
- Intervention documentation daily
- Visible pharmacy presence for respective units
CCU 1 and CCU 2
- Normal responsibilities but will verify for 6NE and 6NW until 1530
- Lunch 1145-1230 covered by 2nd shift UBs
Call Center:
- Ascom number: 74265 - 2E/2W/3NE
- Ascom number: 74262 - 3E/3W/CSSM/SHRU/CATH
These UB pilots will end on Friday, 3/4.
