Subject: FAQ for Extended-Infusion Dosing

Good afternoon pharmacists,

AMT has created a new document to help address some frequently asked questions regarding extended infusion dosing (EID). The document includes some common questions or scenarios that might arise in patients receiving our EID antibiotics (meropenem, cefepime, & piperacillin/tazobactam). I have attached the FAQ document to this email and it will also be available shortly on the AMT page on FormWeb (Guidelines > Extended-Infusion > FAQ). Please let AMT know if you have any questions!
