Subject: Boxed EPINEPHrine 1 mg/10 mL Syringe Backorder

Boxed EPINEPHrine 1 mg/10 mL syringes are on backorder again.

Effective immediately at HH Main, when ADULT code trays are refilled, replace 4 of the boxed EPINEPHrine 1 mg/10 mL syringes with 4 EPINEPHrine 1 mg/10 mL KITS.

Each ADULT code tray should have 2 boxed EPINEPHrine syringes and 4 EPINEPHrine kits going forward.

We are using 10 mL NS flush syringes to prepare these kits since the 10 mL NS vials are unavailable.

The EPINEPHrine kits will be stored on the shelf above the code trays. They will not be tagged in KitCheck.

HHWC will start this process on Monday 2/7.

There are no changes to the Pediatric code trays.

Let me know if you have any questions.
