Subject: Nexterone premix
Amiodarone 360 mg / 200 ml premixed bags are unavailable to purchase at this time and we do not have an anticipated return date. We have an approximate 2-days supply on hand.
Once exhausted, PSP will prepare and dispense 360mg / 200ml bags to be consistent with the Cerner order and pump settings. These have a limited BUD of 24 hours and will not be stored in Pyxis.
We do still have the 150 mg / 100 ml bolus premix available and it will remain in Pyxis at this time.
Amiodarone requires a PVC-free container and these are also in short supply. We are working to find alternate sources of the fluid bags to sustain production.
We will keep you posted on any new developments.
