Subject: HH Main Sivley Tower 2SPR as Recovery unit

Good morning,
 
We have been informed that 2SPR (ST PreOp) has begun recovering post-surgical patients in their area for an extended stay. They were previously doing this practice in the recovery area (2SRR) with the previous COVID spikes. 
 
In order to better care for these patients, nursing staff has been instructed to contact the UB 2/7 pharmacist when they need specific medications verified. Patient placement seems to be sporadic and ST PreOp leadership is unsure of how long this process will be necessary. 
 
"S2PR” has been added to the HH Main UB2 UB7 Sivley and wkHH Main UB2 PPMs to better facilitate order verification.
