Subject: Potassium acetate on backorder - TPN

Backorder item:  potassium acetate

Beginning Monday January 3rd, remove potassium acetate in TPNs due to backorder.

Potassium acetate and sodium acetate are both on backorder at this time, with an estimated recovery date of June for potassium acetate and May for sodium acetate.

Sodium acetate may be used but be judicious with your decisions; we have about a 6 month supply on hand.
