Subject: ketorolac 15 mg/1 mL vials
Ketorolac 15 mg/1 mL vials are on backorder with a mid-December to mid-January release date. Ketorolac 30 mg/1 mL and 60 mg/2 mL vials are available.
Going forward at HH Main and Madison Hospital, we will use 30 mg/1 mL vials for all new 15 mg and 30 mg doses. APA for the the 15 mg/1 mL vial has been disabled in Cerner at HHM and MH so all new orders for 15 mg and 30 mg doses should default to the 30 mg/1 mL vial.
Our remaining supply of ketorolac 15 mg/1 mL vials will be sequestered and sent to HHWC for use in the pediatric population.
