A new rule has been activated in Production effective today. Details about this rule are found below.  If you experience any issues with this rule, please let us know.  Thank you.

 

Rule Details:

Demerol (meperdine) Ordering: Alert with Restriction Criteria when ordering. Exclude: ONCE, ON CALL frequency, PRN  Reason: Procedural Sedation or Shivering, and continuous IV routes (for infusions and PCAs).  This alert displays at time of ordering (Powerchart) and verification (MedManager).
