Subject: Alaris drug library update - pushed out this afternoon 9.27.21

An updated library has been pushed out to the Alaris pumps. 
 
To accept the new library: 
1. Please be sure to keep pumps plugged in 
2. Pumps that are plugged in and on will receive the new library in the background
3. The new library will be activated when the pump is cycled (turn off, turn back on and select "yes" to "New patient?").  
4. Look for the new library name on the screen to be sure you have the most current library (HH 9.27.21). If your pump has not updated yet, plug it in and leave it on for about 5-10 minutes before cycling again.
 
New library name:  HH 9.27.21

Changes include the following:
 

Adult library

Adjust max dose and max duration for Penicillin G to allow for continuous infusion (IVPB over 24 hours q 24 h)

Add sotrovimab

 

Update bamlanivimab/etesevimab volume and infusion time

Pediatric library

Add sotrovimab

 

Update bamlanivimab/etesevimab volume and infusion time

Add amiodarone loading dose

 

Neonatal library

Add amiodarone loading dose
