Subject: vecuronium shortage

Vecuronium is in short supply and our quantity on hand is rapidly decreasing. The number of vials used over the past week was 3-4 times as many used in previous weeks. At the current usage rate, we could deplete our supply in 1.5 - 2 weeks if we are not able to procure more.

Please encourage the use of cisatracurium when possible. We have around a 3 month supply of cisatracurium in stock.

Thanks,
