Subject: Shared Documentation filters in PowerChart

Hey all,

We recently implemented Shared Documentation filters in PowerChart for all pharmacist and TOC tech positions.  The first three created are for H&Ps and ED Notes, Pharmacy Progress Notes, and Coumadin Clinic Notes.  These are quick ways to find those types of Documentation.

You still have the option to create your own Personal filters, and Shared filters appear below them.  If you don't know how, an example is on page 6 of the Coumadin Clinic Tip sheet

Advantages over Notes/Clinical Notes folders include that Documentation filters can combine note types and don't have a timeframe limit.  If you're curious, the link here goes to a PowerPoint from Cerner about filters and using the AdHoc filter option.

Many thanks to Aaron/PharmIT for their help with this.  Lastly, please let us know if there are more Shared filters you think would be useful to push out to staff.
