Hey all,

Now that we are live with the Cerner upgrade, please let us know if you encounter any issues.

  1. We are hopeful Order Timing Padding will reduce the number of orders you see that have a dithered Start Date/Time, including home meds and PRN.

  1. We are aware of some annoyances regarding the way nurse charting comments appear on the MAR Summary (they no long wrap or truncate) and how tasks appear on Consults and Interventions with a lot of vertical space.  We will update if we’re able to make any changes to these.

  1. We welcome any feedback on the new Order-centric view of PPM.  Although Patient-centric view is still preferred, Order-centric view allows you to create filters with additional columns to differentiate orders including Future, Incomplete, and T-sub status.

  1. As detailed in Aaron’s attachment, Related Results are now available from both PowerChart and MedManager  for several medications.  We believe the main caveat with Related Results is the lack of a lookback timeframe, so displayed results can be out-of-date (e.g. from years ago).

However, we are hoping this feature will be useful providing pertinent results when verifying or reviewing med profiles.  Please feel free to e-mail PharmIT suggestions for additional Related Results on medications.  In addition to the  icon in MedManager, see below for examples on where Related Results can be viewed in PowerChart:

If you select a medication from Medication List or Orders, related results (if setup) will appear:

During order entry in PowerChart, Related Results will also appear:

If you select a medication or prescription from Admission or Discharge Reconciliation, provided the pane is un-collapsed, you can also access Related Results
