Subject: Robotics Lead II Pharmacist opportunity

I am excited to post the Robotics Lead II Pharmacist position.

We installed our first robot, Rita, in 2013, and our second, Margo, in 2016. These robots made it possible for us to reduce our outsourcing from 503b pharmacies which led to a savings of close to $1,000,000 annually. Now we're embarking on a new chapter by being one of only two sites in the US to serve as a development partner with Omnicell for their new IVX Station robot.

There is a building at 924 Franklin Street that will soon undergo demolition. A new building will be constructed for the sole purpose of robot drug preparation. With the new space for prep and storage, as well as the 3 times faster speed of the new robots, it's our goal to continue to expand our catalog and reach savings upwards of $1.7 million annually. We are hoping to go-live in the new site in June 2021.

Responsibilities
The person in this position will be working closely with the robot technician coordinator to implement, improve, and maintain workflow processes, regulation compliance, safety and quality performance, training, and all other aspects of the process including drug schedules, delivery, ordering, and other operational situations. This person will assist me with determining new drug prep possibilities based on savings, stability, and other measures. This person will also serve as the pharmacist in charge, and perform traditional checking and verification functions.

Skills and Experience required

Strong organizational and planning skills, ability to work independently, computer and technical skills, excellent time and attendance, interest in strengthening sterile compounding knowledge, and positive attitude. Parenteral certification preferred.

Staffing
Work exclusively at the new robotics center. Occasional project days provided. Hours and days worked will be discussed during interview.

All qualified applicants will be interviewed. Please submit your interest and resume/CV to Hilary Robertson before end of day 2/12/2021. Feel free to reach out to me with questions.
