Huntsville Hospital Pharmacy Team,

I wanted to inform everybody about a recent change with entering and verifying oral chemotherapy agents.  Thanks to the diligent work by our IT team, a drug-drug interaction checker has been built for these drugs to assist with verification. In order for the drug-drug interaction checker to work, it's important that these agents are entered through Medication Manager by their generic name. They should no longer be entered as a TNF medication. For more instructions about the verification process and drug-drug interaction checker, see the attached document. If you have questions about the change, please don't hesitate to contact me.
