Inpatient use of ferumoxytol injection is restricted to Radiology use in patients with one of the following contraindications to Gadolinium (Gd)-based contrast agents:
All other use of ferumoxytol injection is restricted to outpatient encounters or clinic use only (ie, no inpatient use)
